Habits: luring men, wearing shell bras, swimming, eating men/fish, drowning lovers

Tasks: singing well, swimming, drowning people, being sexy as hell

Anxieties: not being sexy as hell enough, a lover surviving, combing their hair with forks, drowning, getting caught by a fisherman/boat/net, getting eaten by other sea creatures

Goals: Getting all the lays, killing all the men, remaining sexy as hell forever, having Disney perfect hair

This is my finished product. I’ve been a design student for a few years now so it was just a refresh for me; not anything particularly new. I had the most difficulties in restraining from using the Pen Tool. I decided to leave the teeth teal on purpose, for a little quirk. For this I used the shape and knife tool the most often.

We discussed the main points of both of our movies and quickly decided that our paranormal movie and icon should be based on the story of Frankenstein because of the relation to body modification surgeries in American Mary and the element of physical glamour and fantasy in Velvet Goldmine. Then we deduced that both had strong elements of “fuck you” society and it was pretty simple from there to choose the icons for each movie.
